Thanks Pipo. I am not an ingeneer, and I do agree on hotter air intake would result in small loose of energy during combustion. But as the air flowmeter is before the return pipe, I don't think it would make a difference in balancing the mixing fuel/air. But it is definitely giving some nasty oil dust deposit inside the all pipes for sure.
Does any of you has a breather catch can fitted on your Speedster ?

Today I cooked... More than 3000 euros in the hoven !

So I could take away the glass and understand how it was made. Now I know where I could possibly gain weight.
I could swap the plexiglass with polycarbonate...

There is around 0.5kg to gain on the light structure itself. I will do a test next winter.
If anyody has one broken front light (LEFT AND RIGHT), please let me know as I need one to work on the mould.

Now I need the correct glue to refix everything properly.

Good analize Herman, but no. It's not for the front... I know Chris Randall's project. I am surprised to see those weight figures so low so fast. I assume the gear box is much more lighter !Herman schreef:Interior looks great!
OK, first guess:
It is Lexan, can read that, about half the size of a side window (looking at the weight).
I think it will be used as a glas replacement on your front lights.
Don't know how your're gonna shape it though.
Knowing you a little, I think you will know how to do it![]()
Did you see this project? Amazing approach, like yours.

Former GT3 driver, car's now 823kg, started at 995kg.
Project made me think of our cars, but Chris's budget seems less restricted. I hope to meet him on april 17th at Donington Park track day (LoT). Any change you can make it there as well?
There is NO chance for me to be ready for April. I am still fighting for Spa 4th of May...
