My new calipers, supposed to be lighter...
Indeed 2.9kg with new DS3000.
But a gooooooog news is coming, the (rotating) 308 mm alloy bell discs are... light !
Indeed : calipers 2X(2243-1700)=+1.10kg, and discs 2X(7500-5800)=-3.40kg so a final gain of 2.3kg !
And I heard they break...
PS: with titanium blue wheel screws, it will be Christmas all year long !

Great but heavy compared to 1.7kg oem...
The front discs are 308mm (oem288mm) and the rear are AP racing 288mm plus alloy bell. The balance should be ok but I need to fit everything first !
Unfortunately, AP Racing never tell the thrue...
That is still minus 3kg on the rear, but I was expecting more !
Oem is 328gr:
New one is only 74gr.
So another 0,25 kg in weight saving on the rear.

Don't step on the brake pedal with working boots. You might find yourself flying through the windscreen!
Correct me if I'm wrong: shouldn't the calipers be mounted with the vents up? Or will you be using them as drains?

Ik zie dat die plaatjes hier van imageshack afkomen. Wees echter gewaarschuwd, imageshack is een verspreider van spyware.

lijkt me toch niet gevaarlijk op deze manier, waarbij de plaatjes alleen getoodn worden in een pagina van dit forum...

@Rapidos: Last 3 posts are about the use of imageshack to upload the pictures since they sometimes distribute spyware... no worries though, just keep up the good work

@Piet: Heb je een goed alternatief??
Bij imageshack waren?/zijn sommige advertenties het probleem of dat probleem nog steeds bestaat weet ik niet. De bedrijven achter die advertenties zijn overigens het probleem.
Iets aanraden is altijd een beetje link want ik kan daar ook niet in kijken.
Bij je eigen provider kun je vaak ook dingen uploaden en linken.

Just telling the people here that Imageshack had some problems with spreading spyware by its advertisers. Just telling them to be careful, but there is no harm done by displaying your images.
