Now, I think it is about time for you to see a doctor!

Nice project, hopefully it won't be blown away by the wind as it is becoming lighter all the time.

The main purpose was loosing weight, but the dash looks awsome! 8)

I'd recommand NOT a glossy finish... you will need sunglasses all the time!

And wil you keep the original Stack unit? ...stupid question, sorry
With what are you going to replace the original Stack unit?

 No guys, this is not a race car and to be road legal, it needs to have it's original stack unit and controls.... Later perhaps....who knows !
The dash will also have a glossy finish as everything in the car will have it.
Anyway, I always wear sunglasses not to be recognised by fans in the street...

The dash board is now finished. It weights 1.1kg versus the 3kg oem.

You can re-wire the start position of your ignition key again, so you can ditch the starter buttom. Saves a few grams... :D

You still have the monster rear view mirror
Why not get rid of that one and install this cheap but small and light version?

http://www.elise-shop.com/index.php?mai ... cts_id=930

You can also find this type of mirror in the local car parts shops (at least in Holland).
I've got this mirror in my speedster, and a lot of other speedster owners here too

Ah ok ! This is already solved. I think I will go for a rear view video system, and save tens of grams too. Thanks for the advice anyway !
