Thanks Herman
I first intended to fix it as you say but it seems its already very well and steady in place, so I think I will make a try on track.
The gain is very close to 5kg per side.
I am now below 800kg...with still a lot of ideas !

The rear fake lights are now finished. They look real till 2 meters from the car where you realize something is wrong.
Weight saving : -1.88kg

Do tracks allow a car that has no brake lights? (other then the middle one)

Yes, but my car will have (light) lights ! 3 brake lights and 2 turning lights. Safety first.

That sure is lightweight.
Are those motorbike lights you're using?
Will the led strip be used for signal or brake light?

Bike road approved super flashy lights for position and brake, and orange led for turning, very flashy too compared to oem...

I have it in mind but not yet at that stage. Do you know one that could fit the Z20LET ? It has to be a race part to be really light as it is an expensive item...?
Rear of the car finished now :

I now start the front.

Just the lights i asume, as i can't imagine there's much to be gained from a custom front clam.
(other then putting in those cheese graiters, getting some more suction)
Maybe widening the foglicht holes to catch more wind to cool the brakes?
When is your first trackday scheduled for this year?

I am building the front light mould and I should be able to build the glassfiber shapes next week.
I also started to work on the front splitter mould that will include the front under tray and some theoretical down force improvements (ground effect).

I expect between 4kg on the front clam itself, but I am still looking for a crashed one to work on...
I stopped cooling the front brake, too dangerous at high speed as it gives inconsistent brake respond.
First track days on 12-13 th of March.
