Hi all,

I hope I do post at the correct place, if not, please move my thread.
Very simple idea I got from one French owner, to replace the OEM wheel screws by titanium grade 5 ones. That result in 600 grams in unsprung weight and allow you to have extreme resistant wheel screws. BUT, they cost quite a lot. You will use Google translation (French to Dutch) to follow the original thread http://www.garage111.com/forum/viewtopi ... 017#p14017 or you may ask me any questions by email: info@rugissante.com

Thanks for reading.

Cheers.

1/ vis de roue titane brute (couleur argenté) : 18.15 euros
2/ option traitement OAS (oxydation anodique sulfurique 600=couleur bleutée) : 5.8 euros

18.15 + 5.80 (for coating) euro's per 1 bolt?

600grams is pretty much! :)

Yep, exactly. Plus shipping fees from Belgium.
This is not a coating but an electro-chemical process, with sulfuric acid. It will create oxydation, homogeously on the surface of the screw forever, giving bleue reflect and increasing the titanium mechanic resistance.
I have 100 screws, so I have my own set and 4 available if needed.
