We have developed an adapter for the AP front calipers for the rear axle.
I know it’s not new!!
The sense of everything and to increase the braking on the rear axle and significantly lowering the weight.
The diameter of the piston and of 44.5 mm instead of the original with only 36mm.
The weight is 0,6 kilos.
In the photos is still mounted also rear caliper.
I keep mounted on the hand brake, to use every day.
For the track I took it down in 10 minutes.
The offer contains a pair of adapters, including 2 longer screw for the hub and the 2 screw to secure the AP brake on the adapter. Without AP Brake!
I must admit that the idea is not mine.
This change was already done on many cars in Germany and I think also here, and works very well, only that the manufacturer of the adapters are too expensive, at least for my tastes (€ 450 .-).
The price of the kit is € 195 .-!
