I am having a set of ATS-DTC's sent over to the UK from Germany, hopefully here next week.
These wheels seem to be popular in the Netherlands and have been fitted on several Speedsters. So I was wondering if anyone can tell me the best tires to use and which size will be sure to fit and what pressures are used. (I don't have Nitrons fitted yet).
Also does fitting them change the handling at all, better, worse or just the same? Probably should have asked before I bought the wheels they do look stunning though.
Thanks for any advice. Cheers
Neil
What tires for ATS-DTC's??

Neil, most of us went for the Potenza 050's with 205 in the front and 235 or 245 in the back. I like the tires very much and they should give a lot of miles of pleasure. I paid about 650 euro for four, that's about 450 quid....(i think!)
They will give you more traction on the front wheels and better braking.
If you have more questions, let us know!!

A lot of us went for Toyo Proxes T1-R, good price/value and avaliable in all sizes.
I've the Kumho Ecsta MX (KU15) installed and like Stevenflappy I'm very pleased with less understeer and loads of grip.
Bare in mind that the abs system is based on a certain tyre size.
Sizes that match the original circumference most are:
205/45R17
245/40R17
Good advice depends on how you use your car
trackdays / milage etc.
I'm sure everyone who drives the DTC's on this forum will promote their own tyres as the absolute best choice

I ordered the Yokohama A048 (215/45 and 245/40) for mine... They will give loads of grip (in dry conditions
), probably less milage... but who cares about milage whit such a car
